On the 6th of October 2010 in the Council of minister of Republic of Bulgaria was held a focus group for discussion of the demo-version of the system for granting public information – Integrated System for Management and Monitoring of the Sources from the EU Structural Funds in Bulgaria.
Journalists, bloggers and NGO representatives gave their recommendations to the administration of the Council of Ministers, in order to help the improvement of the content, design and the navigation of the module for public information and to create more and sufficient premises for comprehensiveness of the data and a better and easier access for the users.
The public consultation was a part of the project “Civil monitoring over the used by the Government mechanisms for managing the sources of the EU structural funds”, which is being executed by the Institute for Public Environment Development, funded by the “Open Society” Institute – Sofia.
It is expected that the system will be finished and officially presented to the Bulgarian public by the end of October 2010.
