On the 17th of November, 2011 as part of the project “Civil Monitoring over the Used by the Government Mechanisms for Managing the Sources of the EU Structural Funds” was held a seminar. During the discussion “European Funds, Transparency, Citizens” were presented the main conclusions of a monitoring over the government system for public information concerning the management of the structural funds. The monitoring was made by the Institute for Public Environment Development, supported by the Open Society Institute – Sofia.
Participants in the discussion were Mr. Tomislav Donchev – Bulgarian Minister without portfolio, charged of EU funds management, Mr.Vladislav Toshev – deputy-chairman of the Committee on European Affairs and Oversight of the European Funds in the Bulgarian National Assembly, representatives of the Bulgarian Ministerial Cabinet, NGOs and media.
