On March 24, 2021 in BTA, IPED held a press conference: “(Im)possible choice: polling stations at risk”. We presented an interactive tool mapping the polling stations in Bulgaria where serious deviations in the electoral behavior occur – in relation to the respective settlements and/or constituencies.
The tool’s main goal is to help citizens, journalists and the institutions responsible for the electoral process to turn their attention to these vulnerable places in the country. We have gathered and analyzed the data from three parliamentary elections held in the period from 2013 to 2017.
