In the end of 2022 IPED’s team had the opportunity to visit the USA and meet with Bulgarians, who are part of the volunteers there, organizing the Bulgarian polling stations during elections. We talked about their efforts in this process, about the difficulties, and also the satisfaction that this initiative brings them
We met with volunteers from different cities and states who, despite the huge distances, act as a network that helps with the organization of the polling stations and gives the Bulgarians in the USA the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
Our team collected in a series of video materials their stories concerning the importance of casting your vote, their motivation to help, the challenges and positives of these efforts, the role of volunteering and the initiatives they work on as activists.
