For the first time in Bulgarian elections an independent team of observers shared the picture of the election process in real time through the social networks Twitter and Facebook. All the data from the social Media related to electoral violations was collected and published on a specially developed by the Institute website - www.votebuying.izborenkodeks.com.

The Institute for Public Environment Development is registered as an organization, which can monitor the elections by the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Bulgaria.
