On the 14th of April, 2013 the team of IPED conducted training of 60 independent observers for the early parliamentary elections, that will take part on the 12th of May, 2013. Our organization is registered by the Central Election Commission and will monitor the fairness of the electoral process in Bulgaria, with the help of our trained observers.

During the seminar, the Institute presented its electronic platforms for civic control and monitoring of the electoral process. The observers of IPED along with any other citizen will be able to publish signals for the election violations that they have witnessed.

You may find the electronic platforms “Fair elections – Bulgaria” and “Public campaign against the controlled vote” in internet at:

We encourage you to use the platforms if you notice any election violations. Be active and tell your friends and colleagues about these tools. Through our observations, let’s answer together the question: “Are Bulgarian elections free and fair?”
